Balayage is a hand-painted colouring technique that adds lighter pieces through the hair for a soft, blended finish. It is designed to look natural, enhance dimension, and grow out gracefully with fewer harsh lines than traditional foils.

What balayage delivers
Balayage is tailored to your hair type, natural base colour, and the result you want. Your service is designed to deliver:
- Soft brightness through mid-lengths and ends for a sun-kissed look.
- Seamless blending for a more natural grow-out.
- Custom placement to suit your haircut, parting, and styling habits.
- Toning for the right finish, such as cool, neutral, or warm.
- A balanced result that keeps the hair looking healthy and dimensional.
When balayage is the right choice
Balayage suits you if you want a lighter look without a strong regrowth line, or if you are growing out previous colour. It is also ideal if you prefer a low-maintenance colour plan, want to soften a solid base, or want brightness placed around the face and through the ends.
How the appointment works
Your stylist starts with a consultation to agree your goal shade, contrast level, and maintenance preference. Lightener is painted onto selected sections to create a graduated lift, then processed, rinsed, and finished with a toner or gloss to refine the colour. The service usually ends with a cut and blow-dry finish if booked, so you can see the blend and movement.
Aftercare and maintenance
You will get guidance on shampoos, conditioning, and heat protection to keep the tone and shine. Many people book an occasional toner or gloss refresh between colour appointments to keep brassiness down and the blend looking polished. If you want a softer root, a root melt or shadow root can be added at a future visit to keep everything seamless.
